Qualified from: BDS (Hons) Manchester, United Kingdom, 2017
Hi my name is Oliver. I am one of the dentists here at Pearl Dental. I qualified in 2017 from the University of Manchester and joined Pearl Dental in September 2018. Since qualifying I have found dentistry is always rapidly developing and I believe it is important to keep up to date with the new techniques and advances in technology. We are a very forward-thinking practice here at Pearl Dental, with the practice committed to invest in the latest new equipment and techniques. This allows me to provide the best possible care for my patients. I have keen interests in root canal treatment and preventative dentistry. I know that the dentist is not most people’s favourite place to visit so I try my best to treat all my patients in a relaxed and friendly environment.Outside of dentistry I enjoy leading an active lifestyle, attending the gym regularly and walking a lot in the Yorkshire Dales.

Hi, I am the eldest (or should I say mature) staff member of Team Pearl and last month I celebrated 35 years as a dental nurse. In all of these years I have worked at 3 Dental practices in Bradford, staying 18 years at my first surgery. I took a one-year break when I had my son who is now 17 years old.I can honestly say I have no regrets about the career I chose and I’m still enjoying my work to this day here at Pearl. I have worked with some lovely Dentists and girls over the years and made some fab friends who I am still in touch with.Out of work I enjoy socialising and meals out with friends and weekends away with my family and of course being a Mum.As you can imagine over 35 years, I have seen so many changes in the profession. The biggest challenge for me was going computerised as I never really had any experience on computers. Booking appointments and completing dental charting on a computer rather than using pen and paper did take some getting used to and I am still learning new things every day.At the practice I design and style the waiting room educational display boards, which I really enjoy doing. I also ran the Oral health promoting scheme which we achieved the gold award in and have recently been given the role of infection control lead. I am looking forward to this role and the challenge of completing the level 2 infection and prevention control course.Out of all treatments, I enjoy nursing for surgical procedures and in the past have been involved in treatments using inhalation and IV sedation which I also enjoyed being involved with.I have been with Narinder at Pearl from the beginning and have witnessed and contributed to the amazing development and transformation of the practice. From the initial refurbishment to the extension of the practice. The practice is continually developing and the new treatments and techniques we offer such as facial aesthetics, digital scanning and more recently implant placement, help to keep my passion for the job alive. The drive and ambition that Narinder shows and the family unit we have here at Pearl with work mates and patients alike makes me proud to be a member of team Pearl
Receptionists
Emma Smith
Hi I’m Emma & I’m the receptionist here at Pearl Dental. I have been a dental receptionist since 2005, so I have gained lots of experience over the years! Before moving to Pearl I worked at a busy practice in Bradford town centre as lead receptionist for just over 13 years. For many of those years I worked alongside Narinder, Rachel & Sal and so moving to Pearl was not like starting a new job, I felt right at home from the beginning! I absolutely love my job and it’s a privilege to be a part of Team Pearl. Pearl is very forward thinking and it makes my job so much more interesting as there is always new things to learn about and relay to our patients.Outside of work I love spending time with my family. We have 3 children who keep us very busy and there’s certainly never a dull (or quiet
) moment in our house! I also love socialising with my wonderful friends.
