Hi my name is Oliver. I am one of the dentists here at Pearl Dental. I qualified in 2017 from the University of Manchester and joined Pearl Dental in September 2018. Since qualifying I have found dentistry is always rapidly developing and I believe it is important to keep up to date with the new techniques and advances in technology. We are a very forward-thinking practice here at Pearl Dental, with the practice committed to invest in the latest new equipment and techniques. This allows me to provide the best possible care for my patients. I have keen interests in root canal treatment and preventative dentistry. I know that the dentist is not most people’s favourite place to visit so I try my best to treat all my patients in a relaxed and friendly environment.Outside of dentistry I enjoy leading an active lifestyle, attending the gym regularly and walking a lot in the Yorkshire Dales.

We are excited to welcome Aftab to Team Pearl, as our Implant Placing Dentist! In 2014 Aftab satisfied the examiners at the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh to become a member of the faculty of Dental Surgery. A keen interest in dental implants encouraged him to complete a yearlong structured course led by world renowned Implantologist, Ashok Sethi. This intense programme covered all aspects of dental implant placement and restoration and he now enjoys being able to offer this treatment to patients who have lost their teeth.Outside of work Aftab enjoys regularly going to the gym and is a keen Manchester United Fan!

Hi my name is Amber and I qualified in 2017 at the University of Liverpool, joining Pearl Dental in September 2018. I have worked as a dental nurse prior for 7 years at a variety of different practices. Since coming to Pearl it really has opened my eyes to how a dental practice can change so many lives. It’s not just about fixing things, it’s about the individual who wants to feel good and look good. As a hygienist I see many people who dont like to come to the dentist, but here at Pearl, thanks to the amazing team, I can really help patients overcome their fears. My role is not just to clean, but also to educate and motivate, empowering patients to want the best and have the best. Pearl is so forward thinking and so many new things are happening, I feel honoured to be a part of Team Pearl. When I am not at work I surround myself with all my family and friends. I love going to the cinema unless it’s a horror film. I enjoy going swimming and even more a spa break. Me and my boyfriend share my dog with my parents and she loves to come for sleepovers.

Sal is a qualified dental nurse with over 8 years experience. She joined Pearl Dental over 5 years ago and has worked alongside Narinder ever since, delivering the best patient care to all of our patients. Sal has gained extra qualifications in providing oral health education and fluoride application to children. Sal has also had the opportunity to volunteer in Tanzania with the dental charity Bridge to Aid and thoroughly appreciated being able to use her experience and knowledge in a disadvantaged country. Over the years Sal has seen many different patients complete their smile journeys at Pearl Dental and her caring and dedicated nature has helped her to develop a bond with both staff and patients alike. Here’s what Sal has to say about Pearl Dental:‘Working at Pearl dental is not like working at any other dental practice, and I have worked as a locum nurse in many different practices. The team at Pearl are more like a family unit where everyone works together so we can always do our best towards the practice. My favourite part of the job is watching smile makeovers change people’s lives, especially for nervous patients. I am so fortunate that I work alongside some of the finest dental professionals, in an evolving dental practice.’
Hi, I am the eldest (or should I say mature) staff member of Team Pearl and last month I celebrated 35 years as a dental nurse. In all of these years I have worked at 3 Dental practices in Bradford, staying 18 years at my first surgery. I took a one-year break when I had my son who is now 17 years old.I can honestly say I have no regrets about the career I chose and I’m still enjoying my work to this day here at Pearl. I have worked with some lovely Dentists and girls over the years and made some fab friends who I am still in touch with.Out of work I enjoy socialising and meals out with friends and weekends away with my family and of course being a Mum.As you can imagine over 35 years, I have seen so many changes in the profession. The biggest challenge for me was going computerised as I never really had any experience on computers. Booking appointments and completing dental charting on a computer rather than using pen and paper did take some getting used to and I am still learning new things every day.At the practice I design and style the waiting room educational display boards, which I really enjoy doing. I also ran the Oral health promoting scheme which we achieved the gold award in and have recently been given the role of infection control lead. I am looking forward to this role and the challenge of completing the level 2 infection and prevention control course.Out of all treatments, I enjoy nursing for surgical procedures and in the past have been involved in treatments using inhalation and IV sedation which I also enjoyed being involved with.I have been with Narinder at Pearl from the beginning and have witnessed and contributed to the amazing development and transformation of the practice. From the initial refurbishment to the extension of the practice. The practice is continually developing and the new treatments and techniques we offer such as facial aesthetics, digital scanning and more recently implant placement, help to keep my passion for the job alive. The drive and ambition that Narinder shows and the family unit we have here at Pearl with work mates and patients alike makes me proud to be a member of team Pearl
Hi I’m Emma & I’m the receptionist here at Pearl Dental. I have been a dental receptionist since 2005, so I have gained lots of experience over the years! Before moving to Pearl I worked at a busy practice in Bradford town centre as lead receptionist for just over 13 years. For many of those years I worked alongside Narinder, Rachel & Sal and so moving to Pearl was not like starting a new job, I felt right at home from the beginning! I absolutely love my job and it’s a privilege to be a part of Team Pearl. Pearl is very forward thinking and it makes my job so much more interesting as there is always new things to learn about and relay to our patients.Outside of work I love spending time with my family. We have 3 children who keep us very busy and there’s certainly never a dull (or quiet ) moment in our house! I also love socialising with my wonderful friends.
