Dental nurse positions

We look for confident, enthusiastic qualified dental nurses to join the team, full-time or part-time. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, has dental nurse experience, is passionate about the role and has excellent attention to detail. Positions are open only to qualified dental nurses with current GDC registration.

Full-time and part-time hours

Full-time positions are 37 hours per week, permanent, and based at the practice. Part-time hours are agreed individually.

Working at Pearl Dental

Pearl Dental is a growing private dental practice with five surgeries and an on-site dental laboratory. We have invested in modern equipment, including a CBCT scanner, the EMS Prophylaxis Master for Guided Biofilm Therapy, Primescan and iTero scanners, an endodontic handpiece, a CJ Optik microscope and Straumann dental implant equipment.

Treatment mix

The practice offers a wide range of treatments, from general dentistry to Invisalign, composite bonding, dental implants and facial aesthetics.

Skills and experience

As a qualified dental nurse you will already have experience assisting the dentist with a variety of treatments and be confident running an efficient surgery. The ideal candidate will also:

Patient care

  1. Be passionate about delivering excellent patient care at all times

  2. Work with the team so patients have every opportunity to discuss their treatment options

  3. Understand private dentistry and Denplan, and support offering treatment options to patients

Working with the team

  1. Understand the importance of teamwork in the surgery and how to support the dentists effectively

  2. Have excellent organisational and influencing skills, and use them to make sure the practice delivers effective care

  3. Be confident working at the reception desk

Professional responsibilities

  1. Make sure all practice policies and procedures are followed

  2. Show a full understanding of GDC and other regulatory responsibilities

  3. Value your own CPD, which we support with an online CPD subscription
