Invisalign uses a series of clear, removable aligners to move teeth in small steps. The sequence is planned from a digital scan before any aligner is made, so the intended finishing position is agreed at the start.
It changes where the teeth sit. It does not change their colour or repair damage — whitening or bonding is discussed separately, usually after the teeth have finished moving.
This may suit you if
Your teeth are crowded, spaced or have moved back after earlier braces, and you would rather not wear something fixed and visible. Suitability is confirmed at the assessment.
What it will not do
Aligners only work while they are being worn, so the result depends on wearing them as instructed. They move teeth; they do not whiten, reshape or repair them.
Where aligners cannot achieve the result, the alternatives are explained at the same visit.

- Step 4RetainersTeeth are held in their new position with retainers once movement is complete.
Afterwards
Teeth drift back without retention. Retainers are part of the treatment, not an extra, and they need replacing over time.

Am I suitable for Invisalign?
Suitability is confirmed at the assessment. It depends on how much the teeth need to move, how your bite meets and the health of your gums. If aligners cannot achieve the result, the alternatives are explained at the same visit.
How much does it cost?
The Invisalign Elite package starts at £3,450. Your exact cost depends on the treatment plan and is confirmed in writing before anything is booked.
Can I pay over time?
Finance and payment plans are available for private treatment — ask at your assessment. Finance is subject to status and the full terms come with your written plan.
Will the teeth move back afterwards?
They can, which is why retainers are fitted at the end of treatment and reviewed afterwards. Wearing them as instructed is what holds the result.
