Clinical scope
Pearl Dental accepts referrals for routine extractions, surgical extractions and wisdom tooth removal, with or without sedation. Thank you for your kind referral.
Sedation is available for nervous patients and for longer surgical cases; tell us on the form whether it is required so the appointment is planned correctly.
Acceptance criteria
Please include relevant medical history, current medications and anything that affects sedation, such as weight, pregnancy or previous reactions to sedation.
What to include
- Treatment type and whether sedation is required
- Case description and relevant medical history
- Patient’s name, date of birth, email and phone
- Referring clinician’s name, practice and phone number
What happens next
The practice acknowledges every referral by email or telephone, then contacts the patient directly to arrange the appointment.
A report is sent to the referring dentist after the assessment or treatment, and the patient returns to your practice for their ongoing care.
