Clinical scope
Pearl Dental accepts referrals for root canal treatment and re-treatment, including molars, curved or calcified canals, and teeth where a previous treatment has failed. Sedation is available for anxious patients.
A completion letter is emailed to the referring dentist when treatment finishes; a paper copy can be requested on the form.
What to include
- Referring dentist’s name, practice and contact details
- Patient’s name, date of birth and contact details
- The tooth concerned and the reason for referral, including medical history
- Recent radiographs, sent securely once the referral is acknowledged
What happens next
The practice acknowledges every referral by email or telephone, then contacts the patient directly to arrange the appointment.
A report is sent to the referring dentist after the assessment or treatment, and the patient returns to your practice for their ongoing care.
